Retro Online Game

The Retro Online Game is an early (flash) version of our game. Designed to be played on Desktop and Laptop computers, an internet connection is required. Simply register by email with a screename or log in using facebook. The game can be played in two modes, "Practice" Game" and "Two Player Game".

Practice Game

This is a game for one person. (Think Patience or Solitaire). Build poker hands on the Rakpoka board to obtain the maximum possible score. There are two full decks of cards with four jokers used in the game. Highest scores are automatically posted onto the wall of fame.

Below is a screenshot showing a practice board at the start of a game.

Users should study the cards in the rack at the bottom of the screen with a view to adding them to any of the RAK cards already on the centre of the board, to form a valid poker hand. The scoresheet on the left side shows the points given for the various poker hands. Roll the mouse over the SCORES chart to see the rules and descriptions of valid hands. Cards can be swapped for fresh cards from the deck or players can pass or resign. Cards remaining in the deck are shown on the side of the rack.

Drag and drop cards to the chosen squares and press the "PLAY" button to send your move. Remember that the scores can be multiplied by laying hands over the bonus squares. Jokers are "wild cards" but they attract a 20 point penalty when played or swapped, be careful not to use a joker on a bonus square as the penalty will be multiplied by the number on that square.

Give it a try, its quite addictive.

Two Player Game

Below is a screenshot showing a Two Player board at the start of a game.

Users can invite other players by facebook or email, There is a chat screen so users can chat whilst they play. Alternatively you can run SKYPE on another browser and reduce the size of the screen to see and chat to the opponent whilst you play.

Players, in turn, should study the cards in the rack at the bottom of the screen with a view to adding them to any of the RAK cards already on the board to form a valid poker hand. The scoresheet on the left side shows the points given for the various poker hands. Roll the mouse over the SCORES chart to see the rules and descriptions of valid hands. Cards can be swapped for fresh cards from the deck or players can pass or resign on their turn. Cards remaining in the deck are shown on the side of the rack.

Drag and drop cards to the chosen squares and press the "PLAY" button to send your move.. Remember that the scores can be multiplied by laying hands over the bonus squares. Jokers are "wild cards" but they attract a 20 point penalty when played or swapped, be careful not to use a joker on a bonus square as the penalty will be multiplied by the number on that square.

As can be seen, the first player has laid a "STRAIGHT"
over a x3 bonus square so he has scored 54 points.
